1) Horatio and Marcellus talk about the ghost, and how it will affect the people, and that its a bad omen. Horatio doesn't believe it's really the king, and when it appears, he orders it to ask him if he can help, or if there is some treasure that is keeping the ghost to pass over.

Very nice summary. I like how you explained that the ghost was a bad omen.And the Inverted Syntax was a good example, you should add the page and line of where the quote was.

Impending war with?
Blank and Blank have the same names.
*Hamlet has suddenly gotten more confusing.
Denmark (ruler?)
vs.
Country? (Fortinbras)
Marcellus want to know the 411 about why everyone in Denmark is buzzin around ready to go to war. Horatio talks about some old enemies and about how supernatural events are harbingers of bad events. Marcellus, Horatio, and Bernardo think that the ghost is just a harbinger of the upcoming war with Norway. How wrong they are. Ghost enters.

"A mote it [the ghost] is to trouble the mind's eye" (Shakespeare 12). (object/verb/subject)
Modern English would follow the pattern of "It is a mote...." (subject/verb/object)
